Kuniyoshi Utagawa (known in the English speaking world as Kuniyoshi) is one of the great masters of the Japanese ukiyo-e style of woodblock prints and painting. More than any other artist, he depicted cats humorously and satirically, with great accuracy and careful observation. This book is a collection of his works that feature cats and will attract ukiyo-e lovers, cat lovers, designers and illustrators.
